At Glastonbury, Heart Chakra of the world, the Phoenix no longer builds its own funeral pyre to rise from the ashes but is perpetually regenerating. Death and birth are simultaneous and eternal, fuelled by the Waters of the Holy Grail. Hence a jug seems an apt vehicle for this legendary bird.
